Arroyo Family News
Well, J. started teaching on Thursday the 18th of August AND Rainee began Pre-K at the same school! Rainee was incredible and the school, ETS, has a great addition in her as well. It is incredible having my granddaughter a few classrooms away from my classroom. The kids in my classes are incredible and it is going to be an incredible year for Rainee and I.

Hi Tony: I have a few corrections for your family tree page. Bob Ward's name was Bobby Earl Ward (like Bobby Lee's name - neither were Roberts). Bob's birthday was January 30, 1939. Aunt Claudia is more remembered as Claudia Minnie Heatherly (she married Clifford John Heatherly sometime in the 1920s-mid to late 20s). Clifford and his sister were offspring of a prostitute in Kansas City by the name of Maude. He told me once that he was on his own at 6 yoa. (Probably why his language was so "colorful". His vocabulary consisted of numerous 4 letter words, if you know what I mean.) We loved him so much, we overlooked his language. He was "saved" during the 50's (along with Bonham, Edna, Floyd and Dorothy), and we all attended Philadelphia Assembly. That's where the group picture is made.
Floyd had four sons (three of which are gone, now). The oldest was Donald Lee Lawrence (committed suicide by hanging himself in his garage the summer before Claudia died). His mother was Mable. Next is David Allen Lawrence. I don't know where he is now, but I'm sure he is in Tulsa or BA. Ron may know more - he keeps up with these things. These two boys were by his first and second wives. David's mother was Robena and (she married Bill Brummett after Floyd). Floyd married Dorothy and they had two boys, Ricky Joe Lawrence (recently died) and James Floyd (Jimmy) killed in a drug induced car crash.
Guess that will keep you busy for awhile. I can't remember what else I was going to say. Oh yes; Edna and Bonham had two boys. Jack Edward Ellison (dob 11/09/38) and Ronald Eugene Ellison (dob 2/3/40). We spent the greater portion of our childhoods together as brothers and sister almost.
Love you, Mom
